He Was Only Visiting This Planet: Larry Norman 4/8/47 – 2/24/08

Larry Norman has finally made it home. For those of you that don't know, Larry was pretty much the inventor of Christian Rock Music. He was a very controversial figure, but if you ever met the man you would think you may be visiting Jesus, for his faith was so focused and all consuming. I did get to meet him once at the Ichthus Music Festival in Wilmore KY back around 1984. After he played his set he joined the audience, and just watched the other bands and talked to people. He was also full of Love, but always making you think with his simple, yet very profound statements. He will be missed terribly, but now he only know joy and a great reward.
